500 sel shifting problems...
 

Hi

I am considering purchasing a 93 500sel (141k miles, near mint condition).

It seems to be mechanically excellent. The only flaw I could find was when accelerating at full throttle in first gear, it didn't want to shift (and banged against the rev limiter a couple of times until I let off the gas...)

It seemed to shift fine when driving "nice", but this is kinda scaring me...
