Master Inquire Report

what exactly is a master inquire? Is this more helpful then carfax?
How do you acquire one? Thanks. Happy driving.

If you mean the VMI (Vehicle Master Inquiry). Any authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer can bring it up on their computer when provided a VIN number. It shows all of the work that has been done on that vehicle at any Mercedes-Benz dealer during the life of the vehicle. ;)

I thought it only gave warranty work done. If other non-warranty work had been done at the particular dealer you got the master inquiry from , then you might also get that work. But the ones I have seen did not have non-warranty work done at other dealers.
