What is the right type of radiator fluid, or rather the best complient radiator fluid to use on my 98 E300 Turbodiesel? I will also be using a bottle of Redline Water Wetter with it as well, I live in TX where everyday is over 100^'s. Thx, Jay Quinn jpquinn@home.com

I changed the thermostat and fluid today in my '95 E320 then drove about 350 miles in 95 F heat. Coolant temp never got over 100 C but was real close (A/C going). Short stops (fill up, etc) the temp would be 100 C. Turn the A/C off the temp would drop to around 90 C. Turn the heater on wide open and the temp would get down to around 80 C like right now.
Is this normal range for this auto in the south Ga. heat?
First MB/first August
thanks
