My 92 (140) 500SEL makes same noise
I saw your notes regarding the air pump pulley being bad. Mine is clearly bad and wanted to know if you thought the pulley could be removed without pulling the pump.
Any thoughts? Joel

Hey, I have the same problem. Looks like there are 2? How much did you have to spend to replace the pulley?
