Now that my truck is going bye-bye, I will be purchasing another 300E. This time for TURBO-CHARGING!! I need some help though on finding a Mosselman kit or something better or at least as good. I don't want to fabricate the whole kit, but I do want to have fun with the tuning, fuel management, and spark control.
I will be lowering the compression and adding an intercooler. Any information on this would be great. ------------------ Benzmac: Donnie Drummonds 1991 GMC Syclone ASE CERTIFIED MASTER AUTO TECHNICIAN SERVICE MANAGER FOR 14 BAY FACILITY MERCEDES SPECIALIST 8 YRS PARTNER IN MERCEDESSHOP.COM |
First of all, thank you for all the help you have provided us. I hope you have recovered fully from your accident. Second, I have had a very good experience with the people at http://www.motorsportconcepts.net/
My current project is an AMG transmission and differential package on my 190E 2.6. I beleive they are based out of New York, but likely have a Southeast branch. Good luck with your venture! Andrew Seidel. ------------------ 89 190E 2.6 83 300TD Turbo 75 240D |
Truck's done, eh? Real sorry to hear of its demise; sad to see such a limited production vehicle bite the dust. Well, at least it died nobly keeping Benzmac from serious harm!
I'll do what I can to see if I can get a line on one for ya. Are you going for an M103 or M104 300E? ------------------ Best regards, Michael '92 500E '88 300TE |
I don't know yet. It think I could do either one, but the 103 might be more of a budjet project. Let's see what we come up with.
