in the past week, Queen Mary has begun a sharp pull to the left when braking

It does it no matter how much brake pressure is being applied. Fluid level seems alright. This has just happened within the last week. The tires are 2 weeks old, could they have messed something up that may have just started now? I KNOW it didn't do this when we bought it 3 weeks ago.
Sorry to be posting all these questions like this independently of each other, it's just that they're all the same car yet completely different systems/features. My dad is really getting pissed off that he bought this car becasue it is turning into a nightmare. He has already talked to one person interested in buying it at work, so I need to try and get these things sorted out as quickly and as cheaply as possible.
This brake thing is not one of those things that I can just "lwt go" for several months becasue it does greatly affect the braking of the car, thus the safety of it.
Thanks
David

More than likely, a caliper piston is getting stuck in its bore due to corrosion from moisture. Not a reason to dump the car in my opinion.

Touch the wheels after some stop and go and see whether there is a difference. The hotter one has the problem, i.e not releasing properly. Should be the left front.
It is normally recommended to replace both calipers together. I would also replace the rubber hoses (with braided stainless steel) if you keep the car for long term.
17 year old cars will have some need for parts, unless the previous owner has replaced already everything, but then he wouldn't be selling...That's why the inspection is so important before you buy.
Good luck
