Hello Everyone,
Does anyone have access to ATRATB199 which is a bulletin about transmission slippage? I am trying to find out if it provides any insight into why my 92 500 SEL reverse is slipping and sometime not engaging.

Thank You
Fred

The number is from the All Data listings on their website. I do not know if it is their number. My fax number is (513) 287-5592. Any info will be appreciated.

Thanks

Most auto trans repairs aren't diyer. Many good techs will run from this type of work.

ATRA stands for Automatic Transmission Rebuilders Assoc. They provide field fixes for many trannies. Alldata provides both MB and ATRA bulletins.

The standard problem with reverse is worn clutch discs infortunately.
