HELP! neutral saftey just went completely
Is there a way to jump out the neutral saftey on my 1987 300E????? Mines just completely went out and a small piece of plastic from the switch is laying on the ground.......I'd just like to get the car home so that I can work on it in my garage>

Is it the 2 purple wires like on the old 123 diesels? That would be the purple 16 ga and the purple w/white tracer 16 ga? After carefully disecting one of the most indestructible wiring harnesses known to mankind, I have accessed 2 purple wires and 4 smaller ga yellow, white , blacki and grey wires........My Spidey sense tells me its the 2 purples :0........

Popped a handy "scotchlock" across the 2 purple wires and away we went!.......I noticed that the "Fast Lane" does not sell this switch, anyone have any suggestions other than the "Dealer"<---( such an appropraite name, isn't it?)
