280 E Frecuency valve dutty cycle

Hello:
I have a 1980 280 E; I would like to know if somebody knows what tool to use and where to connect it to check the adjustment of the dutty cycle for the frecuency valve I knw that shoul be around 50% with the engine warm. I really would apreciate any information regarding this adjustment.
