Does Long-Term fuel trim reset on battery disconnect?
I am in the process of tuning my car and I am dialing in the short term fuel trim, but my long term fuel trim is still -10.9. This is on a 2001 CLK55.
My short term fuel trim now goes from -4.x to 1.1 on light throttle. I am still working on the other vacuum ranges. I know I have been testing the car and it ran rich for awhile, because of larger injectors. I disconnected the battery for 15 minutes, but the long-term trim is still very high, even though my short-term is dialing in. How do I reset the long-term number or can I? Does it just require a 100 miles or so of driving tuned on the short-term fuel trim? Thanks. |
