Dash bulbs for NON-climate 190E
 

Hey

How do I change the bulbs in the heater dials on my '86 190E?

It's the standard warm air/cold air (no aircon) system so is quite different as there's no "panel" to remove, just three dials seemingly built into the dashboard centre bit.

I searched for ages but only found vague posts, mostly (I think) referring to removing the climate control panel.


help! 2 out of 3 bulbs are blown, and my centre dash is hanging off in wait..!

Just pull the KNOBs off & the bulbs are behind them.

Ahh! I found it out myself thanks doc - you have to pull VERY hard, couldn't do it with my hands, had to use grips and some cloth to prevent scratching.

Should've taken 2 minutes, but now I've got to put my whole dash back :rolleyes:
