i was cruising along downtown Vancouver today and spotted this awesome looking, tan in color MB 320. it has twin headlamps on each side which i thought would only apply to the new c-class. it looks great.
i was told by my MB dealership that the new models will be available in north american this september. well, they are here!! i have to talk to my banker and accountant monday morning. [This message has been edited by joel (edited 08-27-2000).] |
joel,
Are you sure this wasn't a C Class. I believer that there will be a C320. If they would make the 320 available with the six speed, I would buy one. The 240 will be the only one with the six speed. I saw some of the new C Class cars running around in Stuttgart when I was there in June, so they have been making them long enough for some to reach this continent. I understand that they have GPS standard, and that the sport suspension will be available. affirmative, larry, it was an E320!!, unless it was tampered ( which i doubt ). it had a california license plate tag. it looks like it has a shorter wheel base than the current 2000 model.
am sure someone else must have seen one. anyone? |
I seriously doubt it was an E-Class. The next E-Class bodystyle will actually have a longer wheelbase than the current body, yet will retain the current cars length.
