engine shock struts
 

Done the search and came up empty. Car is a 1991 500SEL ( WDB1260371A wz 117965 engine ). I need to change both the engine shock dampers and the dealer has given me 2, part # on the packet is G123 240 10 48540 48 123 10 which is as I know is not an MB number. I have removed the 2 old ones and one has an LMI number 524 000 923 and the other is an MB number 126 240 0548. These 2 however are slightly different in length and stroke too causing one of them to rattle about in the mount and damaging it. Can anyone please supply the correct number I need and I am pre-supposing both sides are the same part number. I need also to change the engine mounts as I can see they are flatter than the new ones but I think this ought not to affect the operational stroke length of the correct dampers... Thanks
