Mercedes 300TE Vibration

I have a 1992 Mercedes 300TE, when the vehicle is in drive, and I come to a stop, there is alot of vibration in the vehicle. If I put the car in neutral, the vibration seems to go away.

My guess is that I have some bad motor mounts, or transmission mounts.

Can someone give me some direction here?

Thanks - William Torres

I have the same problem on my 84 300SD and it's the engine mounts. Not too hard to replace.
