Cruise control "computer"

My cruise control just quit. Nothing.
Trying to located where the cruise control unit is .
I know it is inside the car but where exactly and how do I get access to it.?

Under the dash to the left of the steering column. You'll have to remove the lower dash cover to get to it.

Can't advise as to your specific model, but the amplifier is located in the cabin. On the W201, it's on the passenger side under the carpet and under a plastic wiring channel.

It's also been found on the driver's side, again under the carpet but up by the pedals.

How do your get the lower dash cover off.
Is it welded in place?
I've been fighting it for an hour and I can't remove the d"""m thing.

You need the manual!


Got to remove the black trim, hood release etc.. Get all the hidden screws...
