What is my tranny? 722.??
 

Hi,
I have an E230 1996 4 cylinder 2.3 with a 111.970 coded engine and a 210037 model chassis.
The transmission has a dipstick.
What is it? a 722.4 a 722.6 ???

I just topped it off with a MB ATF in the grey container. Some said I should have used the Febi ATF in the blue container.

Some said it depends on the model of the tranny.

what should I have used? I might drain the whole ATF anyway since the car is running on the same ATF since 1996.

722.4 is the hydro-mechanically controlled 4 speed auto with the dipstick.
