Running like it's choked
My 88 560sl runs like it's choked 50% of the time. When I start out, I put the gas pedal down but the engine doesn't respond. Sometimes when the engine is hot it has trouble starting, like it's flooded then when it does I get black smoke. My mechanic hasn't been able to figure it out. Any thoughts?
