I own a 1996 S500 EURO car.

I would like to keep my car in top shape. I do lots of interstate driving and don't want to stranded in the middle of nowhere at 2am.

What do you suggest I do?

Oil change every 3K?

Yes, do regular oil changes and do the factory rec. on regular service. You can get a service book from partsshop or your dealer.
