need help locating distributor coil
 

im trying to hook up an aftermarket tach and am wondering where the distributer coil is to hook it up.

Assuming you're talking about a 93 400E like your sig line suggests -

Wherever they are there's 2 of them so you have to run the tach in 4 cyl mode.

Pull the front engine cover behind the left headlight and follow the cable from the middle of the distributor to the coil. I suggest to try that because in the S420 the coils are tucked just behind the left headlight.

do u know any place i could look for a diagram of the m119? I know there are some in the performance products catalogs, but i cant find one. Is there one online?

ok, found the distributor. I need reccomendations as to what 12 volt source to hook the tach up to. Also, what bolt is positive and what bolt is negative on the coil? Thanks
