how to remove the alternator???
 

97 E420 -- Battery tests out fine, but is not getting charged.
Appears to be the alternator, or could it be the regulator?
One article talked about replacing the brushes?
1.) how do you remove the alternator? the space is so tight that I cannot get it out.
2.) Where is the regulator?
3.) Is this is common problem with the E420?
Any suggestions would be appreciated!!!:confused:
