front brake pad sensors for c200-1997
 

i am planning to change the front brake pads on the c200.

do i need a total of 4 brake pad wear sensors or 2 ??

Most Mercedes I have seen, including mine have 1 wear sensor on each inner front brake pad for a total of 2 sensors on the front wheels. I don't know about your specific model, but can you look through the wheel and see how many brake pad sensors are wired on each wheel?

i also thought that there were a total of 2 sensors,but on looking the new pads there are there are slots for four sensors.

the pads are made by ATE.
