I'm thinking about selling my 300E sedan and Chevy truck after I get married and getting a 94-96 E320 wagon (avoiding '93 as I heard this was a bad year).

I gather the worst things to look out for with the 104 engine are head gasket and wiring harness.

couple of questions though: does the E320 wagon have self-levelling suspension like the 300TE?
and does it also have the cat converter 'warm up' period (couple mins after start b4 it'll shift out of low gear)?

Any other info/advice appreciated.
