Retro fit tele aid or similar device?
 

I had tele aid on my prior '00 e320 and unforunately had to use it one time in an emergency and one time for road service... Fortunately I had it, unfortunately I had to use it....

Anyway, has anyone retrofitted it into a model that it doesn't come with from factory? Or is there a product out there that you can install to work similarly?

I wonder if the Tele Aid call center is an outside company that does the calls for other providers.

The car in question would be a 94-95 W124.

Anything can be done if you have the money. I fully expect that such a retrofit would be BIG bucks.

Teleaid was technology that MB got in the purchase of Chrysler. Since the charge about $240 per year service charge, I expect that it could be purchased somehow.

Let me tell you the $240 / yr was a great investment, also used it many times when my cell died and they would connect me via third party to another phone, or the concierge service? Used that too.... on the cell calls, they billed me some minutes, but it was only used few times..
