Small leak in coolant resivior

Hey,

My wife's Alfa Romeo decided to spring a small leak in it's coolant tank this afternoon. Naturally, parts can't be had quickly for a car like this, so I'm looking to patch it for now. Can I stick some JB Weld in there, or what will hold on plastic that could also get wet and obviously hot?

I was heading for the duct tape but I figure it has tol hold for at least three or four days until I can get a replacement tank.

Thanks much!

Well, I didn't really want to swap the tank out twice if I didn't have to. Looking for more of a way to seal the hole for now.

I patched a 3-4" crack in the coolant reservoir of an 83 300SD with Permatex gray RTV and it's held for over a year.
