bumper and trim reconditioner

My '87 300E had seriously faded bumpers, door handles and lower-body cladding. I tried both the Meguier's and Auto Magic (the latter is only sold to and by pro detailers I think) reconditioners and the improvement was very slight. I just tried the Griot's Garage bumper and trim reconditioner, and man, that stuff worked great. The bumpers almost look new. The body cladding looks much better, and the door handles look somewhat better. For $13, I highly recommend anyone with faded bumpers try this. I wish I had before and after pics to post as the difference is really dramatic.

Griot's is pricey, but some of their stuff is really good. I like their Speedshine for a quick cleanup at car shows. I've had good luck also with their rubber cleaner and their vinyl and rubber conditioner.

Just got my Griot's catalog a couple of weeks ago.

I plan on getting the bumper reconditioner...thanks for the endorsement.
