Wow! Glad you were able to get into the trunk...

If ever there was a reason to get a spiral cell battery, this would be it! Go Optima! :)

Use water and baking soda (like Arm & Hammer, for example) to neutralize the acid. Wet it down and sprinkle the baking soda on it, then work it in a little, like with an old paint brush or scrub brush, then rinse it thoroughly.

boy thats bad!!! can someone tell me how a battery can explode???? I mean its an MB battery so I would expect better quality. White, did you run a check to see if your alternator supplying the right voltage? I mean is it supplying too much voltage caused the overload?

For your window, if its the same as those on the 140, you will have to re-program them to work properly. Press down until the window reach bottom and hold for 5 seconds. Than press up until window reaches top and hold for 5 seconds.

Thad should do it. If it dosen't let us know, I will try to find the exact procedures

I didn't think I would have to reprogram my wifes remote. Stupid. She just called me. Her remote won't work which means she can't start the car. Oh well. I will have to do it when I get home after work.
