where to look for good buys ?
Even though not a technical question, I was wondering if some of you would know some good sites to look for used mercedes for a good price.
I know of the following. any others would be helpful in the search. www.autotrader.com www.autoshoppermagazine.com www.nj.com/autos www.ebay.com www.wantadpress.com www.cars.com that's pretty much the end of my list. I need some more because these sites with the exception of cars.com, ebay, and autotrader encompass the tri state area.

I found mines last week on ebay, about 225 miles from my town of residence. You just have to keep looking every day, and be patient. I regularly looked on ebay, local paper (cars.com), and autotrader.

depends...
On how far you are willing to look. At a suggestion of a person here I started watching several FL and TX newspaper ads online. I found mine in an area near Tampa for a very reasonable price. I believe it was under what an autotrader or cars.com would ask. It is all timing and luck, good luck.

I guess I somehow want to find out what the websites for the local newspapers are for other states like fl etc. I've seen great prices in florida for some reason. substantially less for the same or better car as compared to ny/nj. and i'm curious why that is..
