polished steel side skirts or upgrade 85 W126???

i saw in presicion auto they had polished strips that go over the side skirts. i emailed hthem and asked them if they had them for a euro 85 500sel they said no only american. Is there a diffrence in the side skirts in american and euro. another thing is there any way to upgrade the side skitrs to the look after 85 the flat side. what do you think would be my best bet.

I think the side skirts are the same. It would be best to upgrade to the flatter design on later 126's, well I think so anyway i like to keep things original.
Although i'm not 100% sure if this would fit. If it does fit, I think that would really improve the look of the car.

Would the parts shop have the side skirts and what would be involved in putting them on or is it not possible.
