C280 door panel
I'm trying to get the front drivers side door panel off of my '94 C280 in order to replace the door check strap. I've removed the 2 screws on the latch, and behind the plastic cover by the pull. I've pulled all the pins free around the bottom and edges.
When trying to pull the top edge up, it seems something is still hanging up behind the panel, around where the handle and seat switches are. Is there anything else to remove, or should I just pull harder? |

working in this problem today (something appears to have broken in my door and when it opens and closes there is a loud popping noise.) anybody have a good procedure list?

Hi,
I'm familiar with my 98 but the 94 are a little different I think. Here is what Haynes says: Pry out and remove the handle recess panel (plastic trim behind the silver handle you pull to open the door) and remove the screw behind it. Pry out the round trim panel below the front of the arm rest and remove the screw behind it. Hope that helps! Mike

that did help, thanks. once you get those 2 screws out there is one on the back of the panel that comes out, and as long as you can get something behind the panel and pry it out it comes off fine.
thanks for the help!
