What else to change to spearhead future failure?
I asked this , I think two years ago, when I first started looking into this purchase.... but can't remember (I found my thread, List problems to expect on 300E >100K miles ). I focused so much on head gasket, evap, and wiring harness, forgot the rest..
So, getting the fuel pressure regulator replaced. I might as well buy the ovp and swap it no? What else is going to go down due to wear and tear with 82K miles under the hood that is good preventive change? I got out of the other thread fluids, I have to see when they were changed... edit - after reading my thread from two years ago, fuel pressure regulator was item #3 that goes wrong... o

It is not just wear and tear at 82K miles, a lot of these issue are MB design and/or manufacturing defects.
