Is it safe to drive.....

My car sways left and right on high speed and on overtaking. Also it sways when i kick down and during changing gears. Its very annoying an.Yesterday i went to the aligment specialist to chek it.He parked the car on the hole and tried to move forward and brake,He determined that the back of the car is swaying. He told me that the problem is from the brackets(bushes) that hold the back suspenion(hold the axle, differential) with the body. There are four and their cost is nearly 150$.Also it tooks too much work to install them.Is it safe to drive like this?

What about our lives? If the vehicle feels unsafe to him how can we feel comfortable knowing the vehicle is on the road with us

This reminds me of the comment people making about not wearing seat belts, "I wasn't planning on having an accident today." While it may seem okay to drive in regular driving, what happens in emergency maneuvers? You may save someone's life or kill someone by driving a car.

I think the picture in your other post with the cracked strut mount explains this swaying problem better than the diagnosis you got.

Fix that first.

I think you already knew the answer...

...but I think you are asking because this is your only mode of transportation...so you are assessing risk simply because you have no alternatives.

In my case, I can easily "ground" the affected vehicle and put it off-line until repairs can be enacted, with the duration being directly proportional to the expense of repair.

Do you have an alternative set of wheels or can you borrow any until you can get your car safe once again?

I called the technician who test the car,he told me that he can arrange 2nd hand whole subframe with bushes, mounts, control arms for good price. Its from 200E 95model sedan(japanese merc). So is it fix on my 88 230ce???Also what about buying 2nd hand subframe in good quality(from low mileage car)???
Also I'm going to repair the crack in the chasis(in my other post) before i do subframe job.
