Vehicle is a '91 300-SEL. Could someone who does this for a living give me a rough idea what a shops book time is to perform the following services. I looking only for labor cost.
- Replace front brake rotors - both sides - replace front brake pads - repack front wheel bearings - replace rear brake rotors - both sides - replace rear brake pads - replace front brake pad wear sensors. Thanks for your time. Mike Murrell |

book time is probably twice as much as real time. that service on my 300d
took approx.1 hour (35 min. each wheel) front and same for back. including some wrestling with a rotor that would not come off. ------------------ 1979 300D 133K miles 1989 300SE 1995 C280 [This message has been edited by unkl300d (edited 09-21-2000).] |

about 2.8 hrs for front
& 1.5 for the rear; don't forget to flush brake fluid as well, .6hr for that job. |
