Clips can't be reversed. If I am not mistaking on this model they are shaped with hooks that go into the radiator slot. The hooks will hold them in case they work them self loose. I suggest you check the grommets that Steve suggested and squeeze the clips with some pliers for a tighter fit.

Also, from the picture it looks like your front cover wasn't installed properly. It has a clip on the bottom that prevents it from going forward and hitting the fan. Lift the cover and make sure the clip is there and then reinstall. If it is broken replace it.
