Oil leak low left side of 104 engine , near starter and oil-coolant heat exchanger

Hi
Haven’t been reading the forum for a while but used to when I bought the car. I have had most of the typical problems related to the 104 engine and fixed them. The wiring harness, head gasket and the time chain cover.
I still have oil leaking but cant seem to locate the source. When doing oil change yesterday I saw the oil seems to come from the area of the starter or maybe the oil-coolant heat exchanger. Does anyone know if the heat exchanger can be removed without taking the intake manifold out before? Any other ideas about the source of this leak, oil sump?

Hi Norm
I have checked the oil filter for leaks but cant find any. I think the leak is below the filter.

Did you replace the seal in the oil filter cap? I didn't once and it leaked. It sure didn't look like it was comng from there, but it was. I would give that a try. I looked all over and couldn't find out where it was leaking, but that was it.
