Exclamation ABS Problem '90 300TE 4matic

Hi,

Can someone give me some suggestions on what I should do next to figure out what is wrong with my ABS system.

Symptoms: I press the brakes and all is normal until the speedo reached 30Kmph. It then starts tapping till the car stops then the brake peddal pushes all the way in with a wierd spring like noise. After 3 or 4 sptops like this, the ABS light goes on and the system is disabled. Dry conditions apply to this test.

What I have done to date: I have replaced the relays in the ABS, I have replaced the ABS computer, I have had the ABS sensors checked by a MB expert and they also tried to get the computer to say something, but no codes come up except that it has faulted.

Anyone know what I should look at next?

Thanks,
