Here's a related question: I had a bad trunk lock assembly for my '84 300D, so I got a replacement from a junker in the salvage yard (which I've not installed yet, since I have no key for it). Can I get a key made for that lock, or would it be better to try and get the lock assembly for MY car from MBZ or whoever?
