adjusting hood on 124
 

Hi everyone,, just curious how to adjust the hood on a 1991 300E.. the back part of the hood near the windshield sits up about 1/8 of an inch and the front of the hood dips down between the fenders about 1/8 of an inch.. How would i go about adjusting this?

The adjusment procedures are described in Job 88-302 in the Service Manual. Minor adjustment can be made at the rear of the hood by loosening the screws on the hood hinges and adjusting the hood. For the front, there are a couple of rubber stop buffers which can be adjusted up or down, after loosening the lock nut.
