The Bowden wire that adjusts the trans.control pressure is jammed and will not move This is on a 1982 300D-Turbo and happened after I had replaced the valve cover gasket and was re-connecting the linkage Everything hooked up okay, but the throtle pedal would not move. After disconnecting the Bowden wire from the transmission, The throtle pedal acted normal. Is there someway I can un-jam this connection? I have driven the car with the linkage disconnected, and the car does okay.Bill Lewallen Lexington, Ky.

Does the cable still move in the sheath when you pull on it? If it does, I'd guess you have the two cross rods over the valve cover to the swapped causing it to jam. If the cable doesn't move in the sheath...you've got it pinched under something.
