Any suggestions of the most accurate, reliable and easy to read torque wrench to purchase for use on wheel lug bolts, oil filters etc.?

Use a Snap-On. I have had the best luck with all of their tools.

Try this web site:

This company claims that its click type torque wrench do not need to set back to zero after use.

I just have the beam type torque wrenches for now. They are cheap and do not loose calibration over time.
