One morning while driving to work, I noticed a subtle little squeaking noise from the rear of the car. It would only last for a couple seconds, but would repeat with perfect regularity about every 3 minutes. It took me a while to figure out that the sunroof switch was stuck in the close position instead of resting in the neutral position. I bet the sunroof motor was really getting toasty by the time I discovered the problem. This is now the first thing I check after my wife has driven the Benz unsupervised. It seems she likes to play with the sunroof because her car doesn't have one.
