radiator removal
i need the radiator out of my way, on my 1989 2.6L 109E but there is an air conditioning line attached to the condenser which is right in front of the radiator. is there any way to get the radiator off without the condenser or can i shut off the freon and take the condenser out with the radiator?

To remove the radiator, you must remove the front bumper.
There are (4) 13 mm hex-nuts holding the bumper inplace. 2 at each bracket. Make sure you remove the air bag sensor that is attached to the licenec plate bracket out of the way. remove the 10 mm hex nuts-bolts at the bottom of the radiator. These nuts hold the radiator to the condensor along the bottom. Disconnect the hoses and remove. (There's a red drain plug at the lower left corner of the radiator). There maybe other bolts/nuts holding the radiator on both sides. I don't remember. However, you'll see them if any. Oh, one more thing. The long bracket that covers the top of the radiator must come out. It's easy. That's all I can remember. Good luck. Meza
