Hey Everyone:
How difficult/complicated/expensive is it to replace the standard halogen headlights with the xenon units? I know the wattage is different, and the units have a self leveling device, but is there any way to retrofit them without breaking the bank? Thanks! |

Scott,
It would depend on your definition of "breaking the bank", as all OE Xenon headlights can run anyway from $1800/pr - $3000/pr(or even a bit more). Retrofit it on earlier SLK shouldn't be too much trouble though as OEs are designed to fit SLK at first place. If a 1992 W140 can fit 1999 W140 Xenon units, I can't see why SLK can't do the same.... Good luck Andy Kuo ------------------
