Just purchased a VERY NICE 1988 300E and I notice that sometimes the warning light comes on to signal that a bulb is going bad. I checked all of them and they all seem fine. One thing I did notice was that occasionally when the light goes on, my left turn signal blinks VERY fast when used. Any suggestions as to what may be causing this?

Thanks!

i once noticed this also with my car - the indicator blinking at a very high frequency.

it turned out that my bulb was not properly seated, and was not being illuminated. The change in resistance probably caused the relay blinker to blink faster.

New,
It is easiest to just replace the suspect bulb with a new one.... Ususally the bulb looks fine, but the filament may have a hair-line crack that will cause it to work sometimes and not work others.

Rest-assured, when the indicator blinks fast, one of your bulbs is not working.. :(
