no high beams

I just installed a set of used Bosch euro headlights on my 1988 420sel. They look great and low beams are fine, but the high beam and fog light do not work on the passenger side lamp. I switched bulbs between the two sides and the passenger side still doesn't work properly.
I sanded down the ground connection but to no avail. I'm out of ideas... any suggestions what I should do?

thanks
Peter

No High beams right side

John, find the fuse that feeds the right high beam and see if it is corroded or blown.
good luck with you search,

thanks for the reply Tom - I checked on the fuses and they're fine. Does anybody have other ideas?

Thanks
Peter

check the voltage to make sure u have current coming to the wires upto the point where harness attaches to the head light assembly. sometimes with the euros the wires could be mixed. if that is not the case then check at the fuse box before and after the fuse contacts for voltage and post your results.
good luck.
