The modulator on the 124 chassis E320 [94-95]seems to have a different cap for adjusting
the trans. modulator than the previous models. It is a white cap with a thumb lip and can be turned right/left 1/2 turn. Does anyone have any adjustment info on this type. Many Thanks Arthur |

You may be trying to adjust the connector cover for the neutral start cutout switch. The vacuum modulator has a vacuum line and on the later model cars is black in color, not white.

This is the updated cap. It limits how much adjustment you can make off of the base setting. If you go clockwise, you get harder shifts.

Donnie, Many Thanks. It shifts fine right in the middle , so I think I will leave it right there. Arthur |
