Well we might have found the problem, the brake booster line is leaking where it is connected together. That would explaine the loud air sound coming from the manifold, the line is so close it sounded like the intake it self was leaking. The hose will get put on tomorrow. I will let you know if it does not fix the problem. Thanks for all your thoughts!

no-power position

Common causes are the OVP relay failing and leaving you in limp-home mode, the idle valve failing and ending up in its no-power position
No-power position? I think mine was stuck in dead position....maybe you could describe the no-power position, as I am interested...is it where the rotating valve rests at the almost closed position? That's where my old one is resting.

And the winners are...Arthur Dalton and Chuck Taylor. It seems I had more than one problem. The code 35 was for a vacuum leak which I found on the brake booster line on the booster side of the check valve. But that did not fix my idle, then I remembered about a month ago my battery died and I had to use a jump box to start the car about 3 or 4 times till I could get by the dealership to buy my new battery. It could have happened then, but turns out my idle problem was an OVP relay just as Chuck Taylor suggested. The car runs like it always has! Thanks to all of you who responded. This board is awesome!
