head restraint: what is correct material for lube?

As head restraint moves forward or rearward (e.g. when I lean on the head restraint), it makes squeaking sound.

What is the correct meterial to lubricate head restraint?

Never heard of anyone attempting this. I'd try a little 3 in 1 oil, get one of those new style bottles they have with the long extendable plastic tubes so you can get it way down in there.
