possible dead shock??
 

Past day or so..I have started to notice that the front left wheel seems to be making metal to metal contact if i hit any bumps or kinks in the road. The car had not done this before.... I have no experience to interpert the sound....but i think it might be the fact that the shock absorber is no longer working. The front right wheel makes no such "thud" sound.
