i just replaced my rotors and pads on my 87 300e(by midas,,,not such a good idea).
ever since then my brakes have been acting funny. when im creeping upto a red light
(2-5 mph) my brake pedal gets soft and stumbly, there is also a "brrrrrr" sound like an electric motor is running when this happens. when i press down a little harder it resumes normal pedal pressure. i think its the abs but it shouldn't to this at such light braking. i hope this information is understandible. your responces will be greatly appreciated.
thanks,
adam

One or both of the Front ABS sensors are creating this problem. Many times removal & cleaning will help BUT replacement is the best fix. MB modified these sensors in 1989 for this exact problem. They added stress reliefs at mounting points.
