i just replaced my rotors and pads on my 87 300e(by midas,,,not such a good idea).
ever since then my brakes have been acting funny. when im creeping upto a red light (2-5 mph) my brake pedal gets soft and stumbly, there is also a "brrrrrr" sound like an electric motor is running when this happens. when i press down a little harder it resumes normal pedal pressure. i think its the abs but it shouldn't to this at such light braking. i hope this information is understandible. your responces will be greatly appreciated. thanks, adam ------------------ 87 300E BLACK GOLD WITH CREAM INTERIOR, SPOILER, AIRDAM CLEAR MARKERS 87 420SEL BRONZE WITH CREAM INTERIOR

One or both of the Front ABS sensors are creating this problem. Many times removal & cleaning will help BUT replacement is the best fix. MB modified these sensors in 1989 for this exact problem. They added stress reliefs at mounting points.
