clk cabin floods when it rains
My 99 clk floods under & behind the driver's when it rains. The windows have been adjusted ($200 for 2 hrs labor), but that didn't help. On my return visit to the dealer this week, the shop foreman suggested that twigs, leaves or other debris that landed on the windshield cowl might have clogged the air conditioning drains so that rainwater travels into the channels on the floor and accumulates. He said the only way to check was to remove the center console, etc. I thought these drains could be blown clear. What should I do? BTW, the car went out of warranty in Feb.

Does it have a sunroof? I've had trouble with sunroof drains on other cars. Once clogged hen they just drip straight down in the cabin. Open the roof and look, maybe you'll get lucky. You might troubleshoot by covering the inside with a white sheet, then hose the car down.

My drivers seat got wet in the heavy rains yesterday. Sucked but I am not sure if it is the drains in the sunroof or the top of the windshield. I will have to get the hose out this weekend and find mine. I hope you find yours.....

keep the center console from getting wet
Hope the center console does not get wet. There is circuit board there for shift control. Causes big problems when that gets wet. See my post where my wife spilled water in 00 CLK. no problem yet with the sun roof
